About Roochi Loona
Roochi Loona is an Associate Partner at the firm, with 11 years’ experience in representing various public and private sector entities including, public and private sector banks, financial and multilateral institutions, funds, foreign banks, developers and governments in relation to debt capital markets, banking and finance, ship financing and projects (including project financing for renewable energy, highways and ports) special economic zones, airports and other infrastructure assets. Roochi has worked on matters pertaining to cross border financing, structured financing (including listed and unlisted debenture issuances, and mezzanine financing), project financing including financing for roads; highways; and power (including renewable power).
Relevant experience – Banking & Finance (including Project Finance)
- Drafting and negotiating documents pertaining to debenture issuances, mezzanine financing and structured financing, including debenture trust deeds, security documents, facility agreements, inter creditor agreements, loan restructuring, assignment documents and transaction specific undertakings.
Relevant experience – Infrastructure, Energy and Projects
- Drafting and negotiating project documents including concession agreements, EPC contracts, O&M contracts, reviewing project related licenses, etc.
Roochi is registered with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. She graduated from the Government Law College, Mumbai in 2011. Prior to joining DSK Legal, she has worked with HSA Advocates, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. and EY India.
Roochi has been ranked as a ‘Rising Star’ by the Legal 500 Asia-Pacific 2022 and “Recommended Lawyer” by the Legal 500 Asia-Pacific 2022.
