Pranav has over 17 years’ experience in advising and representing clients in disputes before Courts, Arbitration Tribunals, and other regulatory and statutory fora. He regularly acts for clients before Arbitration Tribunals in international and domestic commercial arbitrations, both under institutional rules (SIAC, ICC, DIAC etc.) and ad-hoc proceedings. He also appears regularly before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, Trial Courts, Company Law Tribunals, Debt Recovery Tribunals, Consumer fora acting for corporates, government authorities as well as high net worth individual clients.

Pranav is known for his dexterous litigation management skills in complex disputes across multiple fora. Clients recognize him for his hard work and elaborate preparations in high stake disputes both in domestic courts as well as international arbitrations.

Recent Key Assignments

  • Successfully Represented a defence surveillance company in ICC administered proceedings in relation to a border security project in the Middle East region, resulting in a successful Partial Award in favor of the client.
  • Successfully represented Bharti International Singapore Pte. Ltd. in two SIAC administered arbitrations arising out of telecom service agreements against counter parties based in Philippines and Papua New Guinea.
  • Successfully represented a high net worth individual in ad-hoc international arbitration and related multiple court proceedings in disputes arising out of a limited liability partnership agreement with stakes in the range of USD 22 million.
  • Assisted in successful and amicable resolution of three complex arbitration disputes involving construction of a luxury housing complex, development of sports training facility and a high stake family asset holding dispute respectively.
  • Represented an industrial conglomerate in a high stake SIAC administered arbitration arising out of NDAs related to development of green field mining project in Russia.
