Pooja is a part of the firm’s general corporate practice group. Her broad areas of expertise are venture capital transactions, private equity and mergers and acquisition in various sectors including investments in hospitality, healthcare, startups, education, logistics, etc.

She has advised various offshore and domestic funds as well as Indian companies including startups on private equity, M&A, joint ventures, structuring, corporate governance, commercial laws and regulatory compliance, with particular focus on investments including FDI investments in education, healthcare, artificial intelligence driven sectors and other allied sectors. Her practice is also focused on all forms of commercial arrangements/contracts pertaining to the hospitality sector.

She actively advises clients on conducting legal due diligence and formulating, negotiating, amending and implementing contracts relating to private equity investments, strategic acquisitions, business transfers, raising of debt, and joint ventures i.e. investment agreements, shareholders agreements, share subscription agreements, share purchase agreements, business transfer agreements, asset purchase agreements and agreements ancillary to such transactions including trademark license agreements, employment agreements and loan agreements. She also advises clients on formulating, negotiating and finalizing hotel management agreements pertaining to the hospitality sector.

She graduated from Faculty of Law, Delhi in the year 2013.
