Abhishek Tilak is an Associate Partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team in the Mumbai office of DSK Legal, boasting over 12 years of professional experience excluding one year of LLM.

He possesses extensive experience in representing clients before various courts including the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, Securities Appellate Tribunal, National Company Law Tribunal, Trial Courts and Arbitrations.

His area of practice lay in issues relating to commercial disputes, arbitrations, taxation matters, real estate and property related issues, insolvency & bankruptcy matters, criminal matters and securities law matters.

He has advised and handled litigation across spectrum of industries / sectors such as IT / ITES, Engineering Services, PSUs, Advertising & Media, Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals, Logistics, Warehousing and Shipping, Investment Advisory, Securities & Broking Firms, Manufacturers and Traders of Cargos, Auto Components, Personal Care, Real Estate and Construction, etc.

He also possesses extensive experience in advisory, structuring, regulatory and compliance work, strategizing for matters and drafting of pleadings and various kinds of agreements.

He has been entrusted to co – lead the Mumbai sub-chapter of CCLS India Chapter, Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom since its inception on 26 November 2020.

He is also one of the co-convener of the Commercial and Allied Committee, Chamber of Tax Consultants for the year 2025 – 2026.
