The month of March saw a lot of movement across several fora and was accompanied by a dawn raid being conducted by the investigative arm of the Competition Commission of India, after two years. 1. CCI initiates investigation into TASMAC’s alleged abuse of dominance in Tamil Nadu Beer Market;

3. CCI dismisses allegations of anti-competitive conduct in NVS-Railtel tender; and
4. CCI dismissed allegations of abuse levied against GMR.

Competition Commission of India has approved of –

1. Forsoc’s acquisition by Saint Gobain;

3. Acquisitions of KellaNova by Mars and Del Monte by Agro Tech Foods

1. The investigative arm of the CCI conducted its 15^th and 16^th dawn raids.
