As we come close to the end of the year, we hope that our readers found the Competition Law Newsletter informative and insightful. November saw the Commission pass its first penalty in over two year and start yet another investigation into Google. This edition covers:
Enforcement Orders
- Meta penalized for abusing its dominant position in relation to WhatsApp data sharing practices (Section 27 Order);
- CCI directs yet another investigation against Google in relation to real money games (Section 26(1) Order);
- CCI dismisses bid rigging allegations against local government body Bareilly Nagar Nigam and participants (Section 26(2) Order).
