About Sanjeev Pandey
Sanjeev worked at the State Bank of India and retired as the Deputy General Manager (NCLT & Policy) in May 2022. As DGM (NCLT & Policy), he was responsible for supervising more than 1000 IBC matters pertaining to CIRP, Liquidation, Individual and Prepack Insolvency. He formulated draft policies and SOPs related to Resolution through IBC, Recovery through Sarfaesi & DRT, ARC Sales and Compromise.
Prior to that, he was deputed to the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) at its commencement stage (2016-2017) and as DGM (corporate Insolvency and Advocacy), he coordinated the Working Groups on drafting of various IBBI regulations pertaining to Corporate Insolvency, Liquidation, Fast Track Resolution Process and Voluntary Liquidation. He also oversaw creation of awareness about the Code through various Seminars/round table and workshops for different stakeholders and training of newly Registered Insolvency Professionals. He was coordinator of the Working Groups on Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process and Liquidation Process for drafting of these Regulations. He also participated in the Working Groups on Individual Insolvency, Group Insolvency and Cross Border Insolvency.
Sanjeev will be working primarily in the restructuring and insolvency, and banking practice.
