Anu D’rose Prabhu is a Partner in DSK Legal’s Real Estate practice, based in Chennai. She brings vast experience and in-depth knowledge of real estate legal practice in Tamil Nadu, having advised a wide range of clients — from real estate developers and family units to large multinational companies — on the occupation, acquisition, and set-up of businesses in real estate spaces across the region.

Anu works closely with clients through every stage of the real estate acquisition process. Her practice covers the full spectrum of transactional real estate work — from conducting title verification and estimating, assessing, and mitigating risks to title ownership, through to the drafting, negotiation, finalisation, and registration of title transfer documents, construction and maintenance arrangements, and power transfers.

She has also advised several companies on M&A transactions involving immovable properties, managing the process end-to-end — from conducting due diligence on the underlying real estate assets through to documentation and registration of title transfer. She is also actively involved in guiding DSK Legal’s litigation team on civil litigation matters, including complex real estate disputes — bringing a rare combination of transactional expertise and litigation awareness to her practice.
