Chandrima is a Partner at the firm’s Mumbai office. She has over 19 years of experience and specialises in Media and Entertainment and Sports and Gaming laws. She has body of extensive experience (she was in-house counsel with a leading Indian studio, UTV Motion Pictures and Disney India) across the spectrum of media and entertainment, and now representing some of India’s most compelling storytellers, producers, and much sought after talent and performers. Her focus has been on providing commercial-legal advice and finding practical solutions for all stakeholders involved in this business, in order to avoid the exposure to the stakeholders, which is high and almost always immediate.

In this ever evolving world of Indian media, entertainment, sports and gaming it is critical to be able to negotiate the daily challenges of the business as well as find out of the box solves and represent what is best for the stakeholder as well as try to establish good industry precedents. She has been involved extensively in advising, structuring and negotiating deals across domestic and international players both in the entertainment as well as sports and gaming space.

Chandrima has done both her Bachelor of Socio-Legal Science and LL.B. from ILS Law College, Pune University. She has also done PG Diploma in Marketing Management from Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai.
